The Corvette Brotherhood will soon be a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and an LLC. I am at my computer right now and will be starting the process over the next few days every day when I get home from work.

I have 3 board members as of the time and date of this posting.

Jeff Seabrook, President, Board Member
Greg Carter, Board Member
David Franzen, VP, Board Member

This is the direction we need to go in so that any and all charitable events that we are a part of have a legal and documented paper trail of any and all funds associated with our events, how they are used and where they are dispersed to. This will be done with the utmost in integrity and honor.

The meeting we had at the Tilted Kilt last month drew the conclusion that if we are going to do this right, we need to be a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and an LLC. This is so that when we hold events with fund raisers, we can have a legal paper trail with what goes where.

I am still awaiting the answer from the Orlando chapter of the JDRF if they can be our Charitable Organization for the Cruise-In in November. If that falls through, I do have a backup.
